The Connected Content ServerThe Connected Content Server (CCS) is a Water language program, developed for the US Air Force under an SBIR Phase 2 contract that addresses the challenge of digesting an overwhelming quantity of intelligence data in a timely manner. It enables the analyst to rapidly find, analyze, and share the critical information needed to support his mission. The CCS receives incoming content that may be in the form of intelligence reports, articles, and other news media, and identifies the concepts in each. Concepts can include people, places, and times. The reports are formatted into connected content and stored for viewing by the users. Within the reports, key words and concepts are linked to related content in other articles. The related content, including images, map locations, articles, and concepts is displayed in the user's browser. The system dynamically profiles all users based on the information and concepts they follow. This enables the system to tune the information it provides to each user based on their individual needs and interests. The user profiles may also be manually updated and edited.
